FreshStore Update – Fixes & Improvements (v1.18)

We are happy to announce the release of FreshStore v1.18!

In this version, we have focused on fixing issues and making various improvements.

We have already upgraded all stores to this new version. The full list of changes is as follows:

🛠️ FIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS

  • Pages, products etc. now obey “In Sitemap” and “In XML Sitemap” setting
  • Fixed cache issue on Sitemaps
  • Disabled pages, products etc. will no longer show in sitemap or xml sitemap
  • Fixed Analytics Tracking Issue
  • Disabled subcategories no longer showing on the site
  • Fixed new articles sometimes having a numeric slug
  • Defaulted message email notifications to off
  • Fixed loop error on 404 page
  • Fix brand link showing on product info page when disabled
  • Improvements to background jobs and queues
  • Fixed “Update All Products Content”
  • Stopped locked products getting stuck
  • Fixed recursion issue with parent/child categories
  • Added indexes and tweaks for better performance
  • Improvements to user roles
  • Improvements to new store upgrades
